Imagine the dread my parents felt when I came home one day and said that I was majoring in psychology. What can you do with psychology? Turns out having a framework for understanding human thought and behavior is a pretty marketable and fun.
I graduated from Marian University in Indianapolis, IN in 2014 with a degree in psychology. Leaning more on the applied research side of psych, I went to Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN to study consumer behavior, implicit theories, and student sales competitions.
When I am not researching customer satisfaction, I’m usually on my bike, in my running shoes, or doing laps in the pool.
Since 2020 cancelled my race season, this blog is largely devoted to the development of my data science skills using R, and studying gamers’ behaviors in an old video game called Darkest Hour.
